The Faro de Madrid is also known as the lighthouse of Madrid. This tower was opened in 1992 and overlooks the entire city. From the top of the tower you get a bird’s eye view of Madrid. This is a great place to visit at the start of your vacation to help you to get your bearings and see the city from a different angle. At the top of the tower, the outer walls are glass, so you get a 360-degree view of the city. The floor has a diagram that names the main city attractions that you can see. This activity will help you to focus on the floor diagram and then race against your family members to find the buildings, monuments, or natural formations that make Madrid unique. more...
